Posted by INDIGO on Jul 3, '08 11:14 PM for everyone How to Find Your SizeWe get a lot of queries asking if the pouch will fit their baby. We follow the mother's / father's / yaya's size and not the baby's size. And yes, you may use them from newborn until 2-3 years old! Sulit talaga! So, here is some HELP to determine your real baby pouch sizing. Get your hands on a measuring tape! We hope your house has one Measure at the top of your shoulder where the shoulder seam meets the sleeve. Then loosely place the tape measure diagonally across your body to the top of your opposite hip bone on the side of your body.Give it some slack so that the tape measure is loose across your body and not pulled super tight. See where your measurement is on this sizing chart below. size shoulder to hip ratio Small 22-23 inches Medium 23-24 inches Large 24-25 inches XL 25-26 inches Pouches are P650 each. Posted by INDIGO on Apr 6, '08 8:05 AM for everyone | | REVERSIBLE Baby Pouches Part 2 These baby pouches are incredibly quick and easy to use. Just 'pop' baby in. No adjustments whatsoever. Suitable for newborns up to the day your toddler says 'I can walk already mom! (about 30 pounds)
"For a newborn, I would absolutely not be without my pouch sling. The cradle hold allows the baby to be curled up against your body, closely mimicking the womb environment -- very comfy and cozy! From a developmental point of view, this is really ideal. It is also easy to breastfeed newborns discreetly without removing them from the sling. Yet another feature of the pouch is that it's very "poppable" -- your baby can be taken in and out quickly, a boon for those practicing elimination communication, for running errands or for a toddler that wants up and down every five seconds." -http://www.continuum-family.com/index.php?main_page=carrier_types

Posted by INDIGO on Mar 18, '08 9:15 AM for everyone | | Yummy Mummies Monica & Denise have been fans of the baby sling since Santi & Benny were newborn babies! See photos below for some early memories with their all-time favorite baby carrier - the ring sling!
"Ring slings have a longer learning curve than pouches. However, their adjustability means a perfect fit with every wearing.
Some young babies prefer the upright, or tummy-to-tummy hold, which can be difficult to achieve in a pouch. Young babies who cannot hold themselves upright tend to squish down into the pocket of the pouch. With a ring sling, the top rail can be tightened to support a young baby in a vertical position.
Some people feel that ring slings are easier for breastfeeding, because the whole sling can be loosened to lower the baby to the breast. Open-tailed slings also have a built-in breastfeeding cover. Breastfeeding in the sling is "advanced babywearing", and takes patience and practice to learn in any type of sling." -http://www.thebabywearer.com/index.php?page=pouchslingcomparison
