INDIGObaby & Bynaturehandmadesoaps invite you to The Sunday Souk on April 6, Sunday from 7am to 3pm at the Plaza Drive of the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati.

FREE ENTRANCE!

To market, to market…that may be the initial impression when one hears about a Souk, but it is actually so much more than an outdoor market! Historically, it is a major celebration of social and cultural activities.

On April 6, 2008, Power Plant Mall will bring this rich tradition back to life through the Rockwell Sunday Souk – a venture which will elevate the country’s perception of an outdoor market. From 7:00am to 3:00pm Rockwell’s Plaza Drive will become home to an elite outdoor market, unique in the fact that it was created FOR the community BY the community. Several Rockwell residents will join existing market favorites and up and coming players as they share their personal recipes, designs and creations with their neighbors, friends and other shoppers lucky enough to stop by.

The food selection will span countries and generations. Roasted, grilled, fried, frozen and baked. Appetizers, entrées, snacks and desserts. Asian, Mediterranean, Filipino and Fusion. Old favorites, new recipes and gourmet dishes. Spices, salts, sauces and dips to make each meal more appetizing than the next. The list goes on and on.

After treating your taste buds to the world of the sweet, sour, spicy and salty, indulge your palate with refreshing fruits, organic vegetables, and cool beverages to invigorate your shopping experience.

But the colorful range is not limited to the food! Flowers and plants add a vibrant elegance to the market while a variety of handicrafts and specialty items provide the drama and flair. Capiz furniture, boxes, bags, and organic products… there’s a little something for everyone.

At the center of this shopping haven is a stage where shoppers can revel in eclectic performances all throughout the day. Witness the union of skill and grace with our lithe and acrobatic Capoiera dancers. Let the music of the samba and bongo drums tickle your feet as you shop to your heart’s content. Never a dull moment in this market!

From 7:00am-8:00am Souk early birds will be treated to free breakfast treats and Starbucks coffee to get them ready for this truly unique shopping experience. Limited edition canvas Summer Series bags will also be given to select shoppers throughout the day.

A cross between a trade festival and an intimate community gathering, the Rockwell Sunday Souk will be an exceptional shopping experience that will change the face of the marketplace by enhancing and enriching the flavor and variety of existing outdoor markets.

To market, to market…the Sunday Souk awaits!
